Pavel Fischer was born in Zlín (Czech Republic) in 1965. He hails from a musical family background, his father, Eduard Fischer, being a well-known composer and conductor.
Since 2007 Pavel has been gaining recognition as a composer. His first string quartet ‘Morava’ was commissioned and premiered at New York’s Carnegie Hall in 2008, his further two string quartets being premiered at the Lake District Summer Music Festival’
Jean-Marie Leclair l'aîné, also known as Jean-Marie Leclair the Elder (10 May 1697 – 22 October 1764), was a Baroque violinist and composer. He is considered to have founded the French violin school.
Leclair was born in Lyon, but left to study dance and the violin in Turin.
Leclair was renowned as a violinist and as a composer. He successfully drew upon all of Europe's national styles. Many suites, sonatas, and concertos survive along with his opera, while some vocal works, ballets, and other stage music are lost.
Beethoven was a German composer and pianist. Beethoven remains one of the most admired composers in the history of Western music; his works rank amongst the most performed of the classical music repertoire. His works span the transition from the classical period to the romantic era in classical music. His career has conventionally been divided into early, middle, and late periods.
The "early" period, during which he forged his craft, is typically considered to have lasted until 1802. From 1802 to around 1812, his "middle" period showed an individual development from the "classical" styles of Joseph Haydn and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and is sometimes characterized as "heroic". During this time, he began to suffer increasingly from deafness. In his "late" period from 1812 to his death in 1827, he extended his innovations in musical form and expression.
