The latest creation of Compagnie Pál Frenák and R_Dance Formation (common platform with the artistic participation of the dancers) was inspired by the earth-shattering challenges of 2020, since in FrenÁk’s concepts it always is a recurring question how we can find our way out of a seemingly impossible situation.

The creation aims to follow the process of getting through the social problems that surround us by using our inner focus, and also how every individual’s faith and struggle – even if it is not a global one – can elevate the society’s existence.

That is why the creative work focuses on personal experience and follows events that we have lived through so in the end, the creation will be lifted to a new, positive, visionary existence with the use of an abstract language so that it can give hope and open a new perspective to the audience and to the artists as well, while at the same time everyone’s perception will follow the effects of direct and indirect impressions.

FrenÁk revisits the most essential elements of his now 40-year-long career; the view will create a contrast between the harsh reality and a new, visionary sense of floating with the novel use of suspension.

The creators hope that the senses that come to life from their experimental experience will resonate with the soul of those sitting in the audience, because Fig_Ht is about everyone’s fight, and also about those whom we have lost, and hopefully who will be evoked by the artists in the magical, vision-like scenes.
