- Event details
Everyone knows that witches, wizards, goblins, and ghouls are real, so why not break the rules and create unscripted theatre with a Halloween theme? Whether you love or dislike Halloween, this event will flip it on its head with fun, quirky, and weird improvisations.
What is an Improv Jam?
An improv jam is live theatre performed on stage by audience members who volunteer to participate. The hosts set up each scene with suggestions from the audience, then 3, 2, 1... action! The scene comes alive with unexpected moments.
Join to watch strangers hilariously improvise on stage, or take the risk yourself and jump in! Everyone is encouraged to perform, but you can also just enjoy watching from the audience.
If you want to join the fun, sign your name on the list at the start of the event and get ready for an improv high.
Entry cost:
Free if you wear a Halloween costume
2000 HUF for others
About the hosts:
Tibor Gede
Originally from Melbourne, Australia with Hungarian and Spanish roots, Tibor has over 20 years of theatre experience including directing community theatre, improv shows, and workshops. He has trained with internationally renowned practitioners and is currently studying techniques inspired by Viola Spolin.
Peter Freeman
Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Peter trained with Red Ball Theatre Budapest and is a member and co-facilitator of the Budapest Improv Guild.
