Masterpieces Of A Private Collection In Hungary
"At the 13th auction of MissionArt Gallery outstanding pieces of a private collection will also be offered for sale. The auction features several exceptional paintings of the most considerable Hungarian artists of the 20th century.

These pieces have been collected with outstanding taste, and the auction exhibition opening on 3rd December 2010 will represent three early works by Aba-Novák, two masterworks by Barna Basilides, and a large tapestry by Noémi Ferenczy; apart from works made in different, significant ages of Béla Kádár, Károly Patkó, and Vilmos Perlrott-Csaba the paintings of Géza Bene, Aurél Bernáth, Frigyes Frank, Béla Kontuly, Ödön Márffy, János Mattis Teutsch, Dezső Orbán, Armand Schönberger, Imre Szobotka, and Géza Vörös will be displayed as well.

Another interesting aspect of the exhibition presenting more than 200 pieces is the auctioning of 3-3 pieces of 28 Hungarian artists, participants of the more and more increasing EURÓPAFRÍZ contemporary itinerant exhibition seen in several big cities (Vienna, Bratislava, Stuttgart, Paris, Berlin, Moscow, and Rome).

The auction will take place on 16th December (Thursday) 6 p.m.
