"This performance features authentic ("puro") flamenco in its various styles (alegrías, seguiriyas, bulerías etc.), including flamenco dance, dance theatre and concert elements. The ensemble makes use of sophisticated harmony between the very expressive art of flamenco dance and music to weave its stories, while always ensuring that dance, music and light are never ends in themselves, but bring added value to the show.
Katalin Inhof, “LaKati”, learned the art of flamenco dancing in Spain and established her own ensemble in Seville.
This original ensemble has now been expanded with the addition of some excellent Hungarian musicians and dancers.
The ensemble is known as La Kati Compañia Flamenca.
Their choreographies and performances have earned them great acclaim both in Hungary and abroad, and individual artists from the ensemble have won many Hungarian and international festivals."
