Hungarian Gov’t Spends Ft 10.5bn On Software
The public procurement and supply directorate KEF, a unit of the Development Ministry, has signed framework agreements worth a net Ft 10.5 billion for the purchase of software licences. Of that, Ft 8.5 billion is to be used in public administration and Ft 2 billion for schools and universities.

Five consortia comprising 26 companies won contracts to supply software licences to budget-financed institutions, while three consortia of 11 companies were awarded supply contracts. The contracts, signed last month, are valid until August 25, 2013.
