Analyst Firm Leaked Socialist Strategy In Hungary

The political analyst firm Policy Solutions, considered close to the Socialist Party, leaked the draft Socialist strategy in June, Magyar Nemzet writes, citing a party source. Several people blamed the party leadership for the leak, as the party sent the document to various political analysts to express an opinion thereon.
Party president Attila Mesterházy said during a conversation with reporters on Friday that the party MPs were not aware of the study and that the party executive only received a briefing on its substance.
Although funds available to the Socialists have considerably decreased since before 2010, the party will employ foreign advisers to learn from the victorious strategy of the French Socialists, unidentified party politicians told Magyar Hírlap.
