Johnny Depp Is Out, Ralph Fiennes Is In Grand Hotel Budapest
'The Grand Budapest Hotel', Wes Anderson’s next film, will go into production soon, but there are still no plot details available. The director did confirm that the new project will be set in Europe, and it's now sure Depp will not become a temporary member of the Budapest expat community (like Bruce Willis, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt) but Ralph Fiennes will check into The Grand Budapest Hotel project.

As yet there has been little revealed about Ralph Fiennes's role except that he will be on duty as M. Gustave, the hotel’s concierge. This film will be Wes Anderson's eighth movie, 'Moonrise Kingdom' his most recent premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and received rave reviews.

Rumours swirled for months about Depp checking-in, but now the director has been reported as saying, ''Johnny is somebody who I would love to work with at some point, but he's not going to be in this movie." Bill Murray and Jude Law are big name cast members that have signed on for the film, Owen Wilson, Jeff Goldblum, Adrien Brody, and others, still remain possibilities apparently.

According to the HuffingtonPost.com, Anderson wrote 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' with one of his non-industry friends - his previous co-writers include Owen Wilson, Noah Baumbach, and Roman Coppola. This new film will be produced by Anderson along with Scott Rudin and Indian Paintbrush’s Steven Rales.

More details about 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' along with updates on the casting process will be published here as soon as we get them.
