Where's The (Best) Beef In Budapest?
Local expat Rob Longworth has been in the hospitality /restaurant industry in Hungary since 1995. So he really knows more than most about the supply side of related raw materials, like prime cuts of beef and other meats. The wholesale trade doesn't sell to private individuals of course, and unfortunately the quality of meat at supermarkets and butcher shops in Budapest is notoriously inconsistent. While buying quality raw materials is crucial, the preparation and cooking of it are also very important. Rob intends to be continuously building more information into his website to help everyone prepare, marinade, cook and serve meat like a pro.
