Invitation: NAWA Budapest: International Women's Day Event, 5 March

Join us on International Women's Day as NAWA celebrates the lives, concerns, interests and challenges of Hungarian women. We will feature two speakers: US Consul Meghan Moore opens with an overview of how attitudes and the status of women has evolved since the change of regime, and also report on the progress of embassy supported leadership development initiatives for women.
Then Ildiko Simon, a frequent speaker, trainer and specialist on issues working women face, will share insights about the shifts in roles, in family life, and the top concerns of women in Hungarian society today.
The meeting takes place on Tuesday, March 5, from 10a.m. to noon.
You will have an opportunity to meet local vendors, and find snacks, coffee, and camaraderie.
Location: the Dover School, VI Kiraly utca 9. Press gate code 2 key sign 1953,come up to the first floor.
There is a small fee for non-members. Free babysitting is provided by Under the Rainbow Pre-School with advance notice (Saturday March 2).
