Introducing Art School In Budapest
- 3 Apr 2013 9:00 AM
In an effort to give each student personal attention, the groups are kept small, tailoring curricula to match individual needs and interests. Fall courses start between September to October and the spring term begins in February, but in case of vacancies, there is the possibility to join courses mid-year as well.
The school is based on principles of Marshall B. Rosenberg’s Nonviolent Communication, with a unique approach to learning and education. Barbara Guttman, an active visual artist and art educator with a doctorate degree in Fine Arts, facilitates the lessons.
ASiB also aims to send students out into the art world, organizing regular visits to museums and galleries with guided tours in English. Lectures, workshops, and events in art and nonviolent communication are also offered.
