Google Street View Cars Hit The Streets Of Budapest
Much to the delight of many, the Google Street View was launched in Hungary not too long ago. The Google cars equipped with special 3D cameras were already invading the streets of Budapest and other towns in 2011, mapping the roads and fields.

However, the pictures, which were taken two years ago are out of date now. It is needless to say, that a lot has changed in the past two years. So now, Google was in a rush to send its cars with a renewed vigour to freshen up the images of Hungary. The invasion has begun on the 13th of May, so no one should be surprised if an ET-like car whips across their street.

The page of Google Street View allows the viewer to see and follow all the streets and settlements that are included in the database marked in blue.

Hungary is the proud 50th country, where Google is operating the 360 degree panoramic image service. Since the start in the year of 2007, these unique cars have travelled more than 8 million kilometres.

The Street View is not only useful for travellers, but can be a great source of entertainment as well.
