Fewer Employees Going On Sick Leave In Hungary

Austerity measures introduced in recent years and rising fears for job security have lowered the amount paid to employees on sick leave by the Health Fund from Ft 97 billion in 2005 to Ft 56 billion in 2012, Világgazdaság reports.
Whereas 102,000 people applied for sick pay in 2005, this number had dropped to 55,000 last year.
