International Friendship League (IFL) International Assembly, Budapest, 7 - 8 June
The International Friendship League is coming to Budapest this year for its annual International Assembly. This will take place at the Hotel Unio on June 7 and 8. Most of our members will then stay on until June 15 in order to see more of Budapest and the surrounding area, visiting Kecskemet, Esztergom, Szentendre, Szekesfehervar, Balatonfured and the Tihany Peninsula. On our final day, Friday June 14, we will visit the Houses of Parliament where we will be greeted by the Vice-President.

The IFL was formed in England in 1931 to promote friendship through visits and exchanges mainly in Europe in the hope of developing more peaceful relationships between peoples many of whom were former enemies. IFL is a voluntary organisation with no political or religious affiliations
We support various charitable organisations around the world.

Since 1931 IFL has continued to grow. There are IFL groups in Britain, Canada, France, Germany Portugal, Senegal, Seychelles, Sweden,Uganda,Malawi,Zambia,Kenya,Togo,
Tanzania and Tamil Nadu, and we have individual members in many other countries all around the world.

We would be happy to meet anyone interested in international friendship. We will be at the Hotel Unio from June 6 until June 15. While the Assembly itself is open only to IFL members, it would be possible to come and meet some of us at other times, particularly in the evenings.
