Updated: Hungary's Cross-Balaton Swim Set For 20 July If Weather Allows

The Cross-swimming has been postponed due to the inconvenient expected weather. The anticipated new date for the event is the next weekend (the 20 of July); new information will be announced on the 18 of July. Please visit the website at the date mentioned before!
The 31st annual swim across Lake Balaton from Révfülöp to Balatonboglár is scheduled for Saturday, 20 July, weather permitting. Thousands of amateur swimmers are expected to cover the 5.2km crossing, including former world boxing champion Zsolt Erdei and British ambassador Jonathan Knott.
More than 10,000 people took part last year.
