Schwarzenegger Back in Budapest to Shoot New Action-Comedy Movie
Hollywood icon and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has been spotted in Budapest, where he is reportedly preparing to film a major new movie production.

According to industry reports, Schwarzenegger has arrived in the Hungarian capital for the shooting of The Kelly's, a new action-comedy from Amazon MGM Studios.

While details about the project remain largely under wraps, the film is already attracting international attention and further highlights Hungary's growing reputation as one of Europe's leading film-production hubs.

Budapest is familiar territory for the 78-year-old star. Over the years, Schwarzenegger has spent considerable time in Hungary’s capital while working on various productions, including the Terminator franchise.

During previous visits he was frequently seen cycling around the city, working out in local gyms and dining at Budapest restaurants.

Insider reports suggest that The Kelly's will follow the story of a young police officer who becomes entangled in a terrorist conspiracy. At the centre of the plot is an unconventional family of veteran police officers whose methods often create both tension and comedy.

A-list actor Liam Hemsworth is expected to play the lead role, while Schwarzenegger is rumoured to portray an older member of the family. The pair previously appeared together in the movie The Expendables 2.

Schwarzenegger's presence in Budapest rarely goes unnoticed. During past stays he regularly shared photos and videos of the city with his millions of followers on social media, helping showcase Budapest to a global audience.

With filming now under way, expats could soon find themselves crossing paths with one of Hollywood's most recognisable stars.

The actor is also known to have a long-standing friendship with Budapest gym owner Ádám Szedlacskó, whose fitness centre has become one of Schwarzenegger's favourite places to train whenever he is in town. So you could bump into him at that gym...
