They hold the pillars of Budapest Art Factory as its permanent artists, making the artist run studio and project space – serving and interchanging with the international contemporary art scene.
Storari’s works’ focal point pivots around the idea of traveling, learning, and recapturing memorable events through his eyes, bringing in his own touch of consciousness of the captured constituents. Frame Story will be disclosed within a vernissage at BAF project space on Saturday October 19th, doors open at 5. The exhibition can be visited until November 5. by appointment only.
Alberto Storari, born in San Bonifacio (1975) currently shuffles working between Vienna, London and Bologna. He gained his education from “Bologna Academy of Fine Art” in 2001 and began working at MAMBO (Bologna Modern Art Museum) further obtaining teaching degree in pictorial disciplines. During his recent years, Storari was the personal assistant of Maurizio Bottarelli and Giuseppe Spagnulo masters of Art and gave his contribution in various theatrical staging.
For Alberto, “breathe the air of the space” acts as a core and fundamental approach in the process of finding possibilities when visiting a new city and making it part of a learning journey. Each city, with the imprinted impression that is left in Storari is visualized and projected onto his works, enfolding into a never-ending big personal diary of enlarged experiences.
After experimenting with various art mediums; such as sculpture, marble, video-documentary over a pace of about 15 years Alberto Storari explores that his art is his best version of his self-exploration journey through art that tests itself on to the feelings, colors and memory that they behold under a “never ending journey” -as Storari would refer.
Alberto took on his residing at BAF as an opportunity for another quest of personally positioning oneself in a new atmosphere (Budapest). This art-filled crusade relies on gripping onto the sways that Alberto experiences all from the colors of the shops, transportation, smells and impressions; here in Budapest, later on executing them in a visual form for all to see.
Frame Story will give the audience a chance to get an insight into a fragment Storari’s personal diary of works, aiming to reach out to the audience as a truthful real form of capturing, then reworking certain events, reaching out to the senses.
