Revamped Academy To Open In Budapest On Tuesday

The restored Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music will reopen on Tuesday with Prime Minister Viktor Orbán attending, Népszava reports. Some 90% of the Ft 13 billion project was funded by the EU, Népszava notes.
The Academy of Music will re-open with a gala concert on Tuesday evening.
A nearly three metre bronze statue of the late composer Sir Georg Solti will be unveiled outside the academy on Tuesday afternoon in the presence of his widow Lady Valerie Solti and Foreign Minister János Martonyi.
