Russia Is Open To Hungarian Businesses

“There are great opportunities to further strengthen Russian-Hungarian economic relations as the recent projects that had been planned and launched together already have a value of $2 billion”, said commercial counsellor of the Russian Federation in Budapest, Leonid Surigin.
During last week’s two-day press conference (Hungarian-Russian International Economic Forum and Business meeting) Counsellor Surigin explained why economic relations built directly with individual Russian regions could be particularly beneficial for Hungarian businesses.
According to Sándor Ujhelyi, president of the Club of Entrepreneurs Association, Hungarian businesses are in great need of the Russian market as it is an extremely solvent partner, but a profound knowledge of Russia’s economy and its regulations is also essential.
