The Irish – Hungarian Business Circle was having one of its several trips to Göd to the “TOPhaz Specialis Otthon”, an orphanage for disabled children & adults. This was to help restore the place. Volunteers were split into gardening & painting workshops, and there were guided tours of the orphanage.
It is an open event, everyone is welcome to join, no special skills required.
A very touching and rewarding experience for everyone involved, volunteers and residents.
Food was provided by Jack Doyles bar and the drinks were by Becketts Bar.
And if you had some energy left at the end of the day, then it was Saturday night and maybe time for a well-deserved drink or two!
