Expanding Automotive Industry In Székesfehérvár, Hungary
The Harman/Becker Automotive Systems Kft in Székesfehérvár has recently invested 3.047 billion forints in capacity expansion and has created 180 new job opportunities.

The company won 703 million forints in EU funding for the project within the framework of the New Széchenyi Plan.

At the project’s closing ceremony, Minister of State for Employment Policy Dr Sándor Czomba said that the government’s interest is to have the economy growth and employment expansion in a direct ratio. “Harman/Becker Kft’s exemplary investment is an important message both to the Hungarian government and to the people”, Czomba added.

He also explained that since the 2008 crisis, only a few companies like Harman have been able to develop and expand their manpower, and if these companies were able to survive the hard times, they could only be the winners in the following years.
