Hungary A Winner In New EU Budget

Hungary will be one of the biggest winners of the EU’s 2014-20 budget approved by the European Parliament on Tuesday, the Foreign Ministry declared. Hungary could receive up to €35 billion in development and agricultural funds over the seven-year-period.
On a per capita basis, Hungary is in the second most favourable position among the 28 EU countries, the ministry said.
