Hungarian Spa Town Hévíz Bids To Make It On To World Heritage List
The local council of Hévíz, a spa town with a thermal lake in western Hungary, is to make a bid to become a UNESCO world heritage site, business daily Világgazdaság says. The plan is to compete on the basis of its famous naturally occurring thermal lake.

This will require assembling a scientific document which demonstrates that the properties of the Héviz lake are unique, mayor Gábor Papp said.
