Tárki: Support For Socialists, Ruling Parties Up In Hugary
Support for the main opposition Socialists and the ruling Fidesz-Christian Democrats slightly increased and the popularity of the opposition E14-PM and DK remained mostly unchanged in January, pollster Tárki said.

In the whole sample, ruling Fidesz was backed by 29% (1 percentage point up from December), the Socialists by 14% (3 points up) and the radical nationalist Jobbik by 8% (unchanged). Support for E14-PM remained at 4% while DK lost 1 point to 3%.

Among decided voters, 49% backed Fidesz (2 points up), 23% the Socialists (4 points up), and 14% Jobbik (unchanged). Both E14-PM and DK received 6% (down 1 point for both).

A total of 40% of people said they were unable or unwilling to disclose their party preference in January, down from 42% in December.
