Hungary’s Debrecen To Host 2016 World Juniors In Figure Skating
The east Hungarian city of Debrecen will host the 2016 World Junior Figure Skating and Ice Dance Championships, Mayor Lajos Kósa said on his Facebook page.

Kósa, who is also president of the Hungarian Skating Federation, said he had agreed with Ottavio Cinquanta, President of the International Skating Union (ISU), on the venue during the Sochi Winter Olympics.

Debrecen has so far hosted four “ice” world competitions in hockey and short-track speed skating but never been the venue of a world championship in figure skating and ice dance.
