Balaton Sound Festival Hungary Organisers Expect 150,000 Participants

Organisers of this year’s Balaton Sound, starting on Wednesday evening, expect some 150,000 people to attend the music festival. At a press conference ahead of the festival opening, organisers said that all passes were sold out weeks ago and the number of foreign visitors has doubled since last year.
Zoltán Fülöp, one of the founders of the festival, said that this year’s event will take place on a larger area than before, and the venue has also been rearranged in light of the large number of expected participants.
The festival is held in Zamárdi, on the southern shore of popular holiday resort Lake Balaton.
