Five weeks before the gates open to Balaton Sound organizers have announced that all passes are sold for the event.

However, those who are just planning their summer can still purchase VIP passes and combined passes with either VOLT Festival or B.my.Lake.

Day tickets are also still available in limited numbers.

Meanwhile three new names were added to the line-up. Dutch DJ and producer, Sander van Doorn, one of the ultimate favorites of the Balaton Sound crowd will come this year with his first class music. Lindstrom, the Norwegian electronic musician, DJ and producer will also entertain the audience with his diverse, unpredictable, but still fun space disco music. DJ and producer genius, international d’n’b icon Roni Size will also come with the most well-known MC today, Dynamite MC.

This means that the program for this year’s MasterCard Balaton Sound is complete.

Bigger Sound – map needed

This year the organizers of the very popular event have chosen to expand the area of the festival. While the camping areas will be found at different locations this year, the previously used areas for camping by the Lake will be used for venues. Zoltán Fülöp and Norbert Lobenwein, main organizers of the event, added: “Most of the main venues will be found at a different location this year and the area in front of the MasterCard Main Stage will be expanded. The Party Arena and the Telekom Terrace will move to a new location and also the brand new Jagermeister branded open-air stage will have a cool venue. The map of the event is already available on our websites.”

Day 0 program

The program for Day 0 is also ready! Wednesday will be about settling down for the week and getting ready for the hard-core party, Sander van Doorn, Hardrock Sofa and more DJs will make sure that Balaton Sound has the right kick-off. The warm-up day is only available with a Balaton Sound pass. No day tickets can be bought for this day seperately.

Nagyon Balaton Gastro Garden

Balaton Sound is part of this year’s Nagyon Balaton, a program series focusing on the Lake Balaton district. The previously well-known Wine Village will be transformed into the Nagyon Balaton Gastro Garden, where the best restaurants and wineries of the Balaton region will be represented.

Travel and accommodation

Those arriving to Budapest can easily get to Lake Balaton and the festival area with the dedicated Budapest-Balaton Sound transfer. More information on the transfer here

Besides the regular camping areas of the festival, one can enjoy some comfort in the VIP Camping, where wooden houses, pre-settled caravans and pre-pitched tents are available! Exciting, luxury deals as sleeping on a sailing ship on the Lake is also an option.
