Budapest Mayor Has Opened The BKK Customer Service Centre @ Deák Ferenc Tér
The fourth customer service centre of the Centre for Budapest Transport (BKK) has been opened at Deák Ferenc tér. In the capital city there are currently one hundred seventy ticket vending machines in operation, and by the beginning of the next year three hundred vending machines will be serving Budapest and its suburban area, said Mayor István Tarlós.

„One of the most important aims for me, as the Mayor of Budapest, is that we build a comfortable city. A city, where its citizens are provided with quality services”, said István Tarlós. The Mayor has emphasized that among others, thanks to the 10% cut in monthly pass prices realized at the beginning of this year, the city expects revenues from ticket and pass purchasing to reach HUF 57 billion.

In the capital city four customer service centres has been opened so far: apart from the one at Deák Ferenc tér, there are centres at Kelenföld railway station, Keleti railway station and on the corner of Király utca – Rumbach Sebestyén utca. According to plan, at all important public transport hubs of Budapest such customer service centres will be created.
