Greek Airline SkyGreece To Launch Budapest - Toronto Passenger Flight
- 12 Feb 2015 8:00 AM
According to a statement sent by Budapest Airport to the state news agency MTI on Wednesday, SkyGreece’s Boeing 767-300 planes will fly on Thursdays and Saturdays, starting from 21 May.
The announcement follows Air Transat’s new transatlantic air link, which will provide a direct connection between Budapest and the Canadian cities of Montréal and Toronto. The Canadian airline’s Airbus A330 aeroplanes will run once a week during the summer season.
The Athens-based carrier SkyGreece, founded in 2012, uses its single 23-year-old Boeing 23 partly to operate charter flights, but will also schedule flights to Canada from Athens, Zagreb and Budapest in the 2015 season.
