Szerencsejáték told the paper that ticket sales could reach 7 million before the drawing on Saturday. Foreigners, mainly from Romania and Slovakia, are expected to buy 6-8% of the tickets, it added.

Weekly pick-five ticket sales climbed a little over 7 million three years ago, when the jackpot reached 4.11 billion forints. But the record for sales was 14 million, reached in 2003, when the jackpot rose to 5.09 billion.
