Wondering how Buda castle looked like 500 years ago? Struggling to recognise the historic statues of Budapest? Would you like to know better Hungary’s history but you have only fifteen minutes to spend in the Buda castle? Well, Budapest’s new 3D past cinema may have been opened for you.

The sensationally animated documentary – made by a group of talented Hungarian historians and IT experts – offers visitors an epic journey through the centuries of the colourful and impressive Hungarian history.

The full movie can be watched at the recently opened 3Dpast cinema near to Fisherman’s Bastion in the Buda Castle.

In every 15 minutes the cinema stars playing the movie in 7 languages from 9am to 6pm every day.
