Labour Relatively Cheap In Hungary
Hourly labour costs are lower in Hungary than in all but four other EU members states, according to calculations by German statistics office Destatis. Hourly labour costs here were €7.8 in 2014, up 3.5% from one year earlier. This is slightly more than the €7 in Latvia, €6.6 in Lithuania, €4.8 in Romania and €3.8 in Bulgaria.

Just ahead of Hungary, labour costs are an hourly €8.2 in Poland, €9.3 in Croatia, and €9.6 in the Czech Republic.

At the other extreme, wage costs in Denmark are €42 per hour.
