Update: Xpat Wine Club @ Hilton Budapest
Morning after update: it was so good to see so many people braved the rain and came to say cheers, we all enjoyed a great time with fine Hungarian wines, and friendly Xpat company, see you next time! Follow-up article and gallery of snaps to follow next week.

You're invited to join fellow Xpat wine lovers on 21 May to taste 8 outstanding whites and reds.

You'll be in good company as a great group are registered already, including Patrick and co from The Caledonia, you're very welcome too, come rain or shine we will have fun.

Both the owners of two wonderful wineries will personally present 4 wines each, 4 whites by Basilicus from Tokaj, and 4 reds by Janus from Villány.

Plus there will be complimentary snacks courtesy of the hotel, and music from the \'Janus catalogue\'.We’ll be socialising outdoors in Hilton Budapest's 'Dominican Churchyard', weather permitting, or if not then inside the heart of the Castle District on the Buda side.

As you may know, our previous event in Pest was a success story (click for pics), and we’re building on that to provide more quality international community networking.

Timing:
6.30pm: start of arrivals
7pm: warm words of welcome, and wine presentation
7-9pm: wine tasting, Hilton snacks and social networking

HUF 4000 per person, payable upon arrival.

Getting there:
1. Take a Taxi,
2. use the scenic Bus 16 service from either Deák Ferenc tér or Széll Kálmán tér, which drops you of right next to the hotel near the Matthias Church and Fisherman’s Bastion,
3. or you could even walk to or from the venue to enjoy the views all around this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
