Da Vinci Code Author Dan Brown In Budapest To Receive Literary Award

Dan Brown’s works have been published in 54 languages and a total of over 200 million copies across the world, his best-known novels including successes such as Angels and Demons, Inferno and The Da Vinci Code. The novelist’s popularity is well reflected by the fact that he was included among TIME magazine’s 100 most influential people of the world in 2005.
The Golden Book prize, which the author has received in person in Hungary, was set up in 2010 to popularise reading. It enables literature fans to vote for their favourite book, with over 1 million nominations arriving each year. The American author’s novel won the main prize in the category of foreign entertainments in 2014.
