See What Happened @ Craft Beer Festival & Street Food Market

Good news! The summer hasn’t finished after all. With the organisers postponing the original date of this event due to bad weather, this weekend they got the timing spot on. I choose the Sunday, which turned out to be a beautiful warm sunny day. With plenty of people in attendance, and lots to choose from here, I didn’t need reminding that the folk of Budapest and those who were visiting really enjoyed eating and drinking 'on the street'. On show were too many beers to name, we tried quite a few, which all went down a treat.

The craft beer trend seems to be growing fast and furious, with the makers trying out all kinds of recipes, ingredients and some wild and wacky names to go with them. Likewise, street food has now developed from something which was simple and yummy to begin with, to more and more extravagant in taste and style.
It’s often said that the simple things in life are the best, and as most will agree, you are always happy when you are eating and drinking, in good company! With a bit of sun thrown in, life’s really not too bad in Budapest when it turns out like Sunday.
