Budapest Court Sentences Man For Insulting Israeli Consul
A Budapest court has sentenced a man who insulted the Israeli consul and his son to two years of probation in a final ruling, the Budapest chief prosecutor said. In the incident, the 63-year-old man, who was drunk, stopped the victims in a street in central Budapest in April, and hurled anti-Semitic insults at them, Tibor Ibolya said. The man also shouted “too bad I do not have a Kalashnikov to shoot you both,” she said. The man had a clean police record and admitted to the act.
