Budapest Fourth Metro Line Seeks Retailers
Budapest city asset manager BFVK will invite bids for the rental of commercial spaces in stations along the fourth metro line, which are currently empty, Népszabadság reports. The BFVK collected Ft 29.2 million in rent in 2014, when the line was opened, rising to Ft 46.8 million in 2015.

In earlier tenders, only 11 shops were rented out and not all leases have been kept, due to high prices and lower than forecast passenger numbers, Népszabadság adds.

The city will lower its rental fees and offer discounts of 70% of the target price in the first year, 80% in the second and 90% in the third.
