Xpat Report: The First Business Aperitif Of The Italian Chamber Of Commerce
The first 'Aperitime' organized by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Hungary took place in Akademia Italia on Thursday 28/04/2016. Aperitime intends to be a relaxing moment that CCIU wants to give to its Associates and Partners after work, and it intends to be a place where people can meet and network. The Italian Chamber tries to endear this traditional Italian activity, the “Aperitivo” - a pleasant way to do business – in Hungary.

The event obtained a positive outcome, with the presence of more than 100 leading figures of the Italian and Hungarian economic sector, delegates of political institutions and bilateral Chambers and media representatives.

Akademia Italia, the result of strong desire of the well-known entrepreneur Marco Novali, is located in the heart of Budapest besides of Saint Stephen’s Basilica, and it’s among the most exclusive restaurants in Budapest.

Aperitime started at 6 pm and continued until late evening with a pleasant atmosphere. At their arrival, guests were offered a welcome drink with some traditional Italian “stuzzichini” Italian finger food.

The event finished with the greeting of Vice President Mr. Francesco Mari, who wanted to say thank you to all the staff who helped in the organization and to the sponsors like Faraglia – Chocolate Factory, who gave the sweet farewell gift for the leaving at the end of the night.

This occasion was the first step in a series of events that the CCIU is planning to organize at least once a month, even by spicing it up with other special occasions, like the Europe Cup.

There is a wider reinforcement behind the Aperols; the CCIU plans to strengthen the relation with it’s partners and collaborators and also to acquire new contacts in various fields.
