Hungarians Keener On New Technology Than Average European

These results compare with 25 and 45 percent on average in Europe, respectively. Hungarians, however, have greater expectations, with 59 percent expecting new devices to make life easier, while Europeans on average only have this expectation for 42 percent of the sample.
At the same time, 21 percent of Hungarians said they have trouble understanding the language of new technology, compared with only 12 percent claiming the same in Europe.
A gender divide in connection with technology was also suggested by the survey: three times as many women than men in the 16-54 age group responded that they are not able to keep up with the progress of technology.
