Hungarian LogMeIn Merges With Citrix Unit
Hungarian-founded remote computer control software company LogMeIn is merging with the Go To division of US secure mobile application delivery service provider Citrix Systems in a deal valued at $1.8 billion.

Citrix provides co-operation platforms for SMEs with its GoTo product family. Both companies are listed on the Nasdaq exchange.

LogMeIn chairman and CEO Bill Wagner will be the chairman and CEO of the new company.

Annual revenues of the merged company will probably exceed $1 billion. It will have two million customers in almost all countries of the world.

The merger will result in $65 million of cost savings via synergies in the first year and $100 million in the second.
