Orbán: Hungary Calls For ‘Committed Businesses’
- 28 Oct 2016 9:00 AM
Hungary needs “people and businesses with commitment” supported by the government and a well-functioning economy, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said at a ceremony in Herend, in western Hungary, marking the production of the one millionth electric meter by Csatári Plast.
Orbán said firms like Csatári Plast were instrumental in the Hungarian economy’s recovery. Europe’s markets are opening up and its member states are competing to improve the position of their own economies, he said.
For Hungary’s part, the number of the employed has grown to nearly 4.4 million and the country’s GDP growth is “among the strongest” in the EU, he added.
