Boat Replaces Kossuth Tér Metro
A boat will ferry public transport passengers between Batthyány tér in Buda and Kossuth tér in Pest from December 3, when the Kossuth tér metro station will be closed, the Budapest Transport Centre BKK announced.

The station on the M2 metro line is scheduled to be closed for three months due to the reconstruction of the building above it.

The boats will run every 15 minutes from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., crossing the Danube in five minutes.

The BKK also announced that tram and bus services will be more frequent in the lead-up to Christmas.
