Kecskemét University To Build Diode Laser Centre

The project is supported with a 518 million forint (EUR 1.68m) European Union grant. Construction work is expected to start this year and the planned research work on industrial applications of laser technology in 2017.
The research centre, located on university grounds, will also serve education purposes.
Pallas Athene University was established with the merger of the Colleges of Kecskemét and Szolnok in 2016.
The university receives financing from the National Bank of Hungary’s Pallas Athéné Foundations.
