Police Ban March 15 Whistle Protest
- 10 Mar 2017 7:00 AM
Together blew whistles as Prime Minister Viktor Orbán spoke on Kossuth tér on October 23 and they plan to disrupt his speech in the same way next week.
Juhász said police appeared in the office of Together and handed him a ruling whereby they would not allow the party to distribute whistles in the vicinity.
Police cannot forbid such activity, Juhász said, as the law stipulates that a gathering may be banned only if it impedes traffic or the work of popular representational bodies.
He added that protesters will be outside the National Museum when Orbán gives his speech.
