Refugees End Hunger Strike
- 16 Mar 2017 8:00 AM
Of the 102 migrants kept at the centre, 94 joined the strike.
The Immigration and Citizenship Office said the protest act ended by Tuesday evening.
The refugees said they had been kept detained for six months, and demanded to be released.
They held up signs reading: “We are refugees, not terrorists”.
Refugees went on hunger strike at the camp in 2009 and 2013.
