Updated: Budapest - Paris Flight Cancelled As Staff Fall Ill
- 29 Mar 2017 10:00 AM
Budapest Airport said only Air France can provide information, but the airline’s Hungarian office could not immediately be reached.
An Index reader who was on the plane said all was normal until ten minutes before the scheduled departure time of 6:25 a.m.
The captain informed the passengers that a flight attendant had felt ill. Soon afterwards a second staff member also fell ill.
At that point the captain asked the passengers to disembark.
A spokesman said in a semi-official briefing one hour later that excess pressure had developed on the aircraft, affecting the two flight attendants.
The plane will return to Paris without passengers as only pilots can be on board if there is no cabin crew.
