Paks Project Secrecy To Be Eased
Some of the secrecy surrounding the Paks nuclear power plant enlargement project will be lifted, Prime Minister’s Office leader János Lázár told reporters on Thursday.

He stressed that once a reclassification procedure initiated by him is implemented, most of the feasibility study concluded with Russia will be made available in a way that poses no risk to the project.

On another matter, Lázár said the cabinet will submit the draft 2018 budget to Parliament on May 2 and that it will be passed by June 15.

The budget will make development possible while continuously decreasing the state debt, he added.

The budget will set aside Ft 185 billion more than this year for health care, Ft 82 billion more for education and Ft 55 billion more for public safety.
