EU Subsidy For E-Car Charging Stations
The project Next-E, to establish electric car supercharging stations in Hungary, will receive €19 million in EU subsidies, the European Commission announced on its website on Friday. Next-E is a joint venture of MOL, E.ON, HEP, Petrol, BMW and Nissan.

The charging stations will be located on the main international transit routes in Hungary and will not be farther than 150km apart.

MOL welcomed the decision and is ready to discuss details.

Similar subsidies were given to the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia and Romania.
