The Story of Bartholomew I, Orthodox Patriarch of Constantinople, known for his concerns and initiatives on behalf of the environment. Learn from the Patriarch about the intimate connection between our spiritual values and how we respect and treasure the natural world around us.
Following this forty-minute documentary film, there will be ample time for discussion. Is the Patriarch right…? How can we as churches and individuals respect our world and environment…?
Pizza and other foods will be served. Children are most welcome with gentle adult supervision.
Date and time: Thursday, 1 March - beginning at 18.30
Venue: Saint Columba’s Scottish Presbyterian Church
Address: 1064 Budapest, Vörösmarty utca 51.
Directions: Take Metro 1, the Földalatti, to the Vörösmarty utca (not tér) stop. Walk north two blocks to the church on the right.
Walk-ins are of course welcome. But it will help in planning, if you let us know in advance if you intend to attend.
