The cornerstone of a EUR 1bn terminal at Liszt Ferenc International Airport was laid on Friday.
Budapest’s Liszt Ferenc International reopened in the afternoon on Tuesday, after closing in the morning because of bad weather, operator Budapest Airport said. Budapest Airport said some flights could still be delayed or cancelled.
Liszt Ferenc International has been operating with two runways since dawn, but delays or cancellations could still occur during the day, airport operator Budapest Airport said.
Budapest Airport, part of the VINCI Airports network, is launching its winter schedule with record seat capacity. Exciting new destinations and increased frequencies will expand travel opportunities and stimulate the growth in inbound tourism.
